Proprietary software is not a good solution
when someone's life is at hand.
My proposal is for FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD to be used as the systems
in each situation.
The FreeBSD kernel is limited to 2499hz.
Increasing it to 2500 hz or greater causes
the system to slow down or become
unresponsive.
Higher Hertz frequencies decreases latency
and responsiveness even in real time
systems.
